I stare up at the stars
I wonder just where you are
You feel a million miles away
I know it feels like the end

Blue Blue Skies... | 11:34 PM

My Saturday passed slowly. Gerardo said that I didn't need to work. So I had the whole weekend to myself. By 11 in the morning, Chabo and I went to New Market. We had lunch with Ed at this used-to-be $6.00 No.1 BBQ place. (but now its $8.00) :( Chabo and I tried on heaps of expensive, designer-made clothes! I tried on a thousand over dollar Sass and Bide dress. It was a tutu kind and it had all the wonderful colours on it.

Obviously it wasn't worth it. So we hoped onto another store and tried on and on and on...It was tiring but worthwhile. We ended the night at Ed's place, making smoothies and milk shakes while watching X-files. Not as scary as I thought.
Work over the week was pretty light. Debbie, Richard and Melinda are really nice. They helped me out a lot. And I really like it there. I'm starting to grasp the idea of my project. I am doing my own cell culture now (exciting!), and playing with electronic pipettes and aspirators. :P Now, I'm wondering if I could partake in this project after my studentship - if I'm too engrossed in it. Tomorrow is the beginning of the new week. And Debbie told me that Week #2 would be more challenging from the first one. On Friday, I planned and organized my experiments and my list of things to do over the second week. Working with Debbie makes me feel so organized!

Today I was walking through the Domain...and I found a christmas tree at one corner of the field.
I can't wait for Christmas in the park!

Most of all, I can't wait for Christmas itself! Debbie invited me to the Cooper's group BBQ lunch. And then there's the SBS Races lunch, and also OPSM lone star dinner. All of these just for christmas! So exciting. Nice food~ YUM~!

Can't wait! I'm just going to leave you with a few pictures of the domain...
